Supervision for Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns
Schedule a Free Consultation
I provide clinical supervision for Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns (RMHCIs) in Florida, offering both individual and group supervision to support you in developing your professional identity, clinical skills, and ethical competence as you work toward licensure.
Supervision sessions focus on case conceptualization, treatment planning, cultural responsiveness, and therapeutic style. My approach integrates warmth, structure, and evidence-based guidance to help you grow in confidence and competence as a developing clinician.
Florida requires RMHCIs to complete at least 100 hours of supervision by a qualified supervisor, with a minimum of two years of post-master’s experience under supervision. Interns must meet with their supervisor at least biweekly while accumulating 1,500 hours of face-to-face client experience.
How can therapywithjane improve your practice?
I offer individual supervision sessions (60 minutes) and group supervision options to foster peer learning and collaboration.
Supervision with Therapy with Jane provides a supportive, professional space where you can:
- Strengthen clinical judgment and case formulation skills
- Deepen understanding of therapeutic models and interventions
- Develop confidence in working with diverse clients and presenting concerns
- Reflect on your growth, values, and professional direction
Supervision is not just a requirement, it’s an essential part of becoming a grounded, effective, and compassionate therapist.
My goal is to help you feel equipped and confident as you move toward independent practice.
